"August is like the sunday of summer"

"August is like the Sunday of Summer" is a quote that we saw for the first time a few days ago. We cannot confirm its source, but we can confirm that it has been stuck in our heads ever since. June is a month filled, not only with weddings, but with promise (it is not a coincidence that those two things go hand in hand). June always feels like the start of an endless summer....three whole months of no school, warm weather, celebrations, sand and sun. September seems miles away.

August, on the other hand, is a reminder that reality will soon be back. Fall is definitely not a season without its charms -- changing leaves, cooler temperatures, fall fashion, and PSL (sorry, not sorry). But for us, August is also a gentle reminder to enjoy these last few weeks of summer. Take an hour each day to do something that you truly enjoy - whether it is writing, painting, walking, yoga.... the possibilities are endless. We have been trying to get out and enjoy the sunshine, feel the sand beneath our feet, and enjoy the quintessential summer duo - lobster rolls and a glass of rosé.

Whatever summer means for you, consider this your reminder to go out and enjoy it! And do drop us a line and let us know what you enjoy most about summer. We love hearing from you!
