Doesn't it seem like we were just saying, "Spring has Sprung"? Yet suddenly, it is mid May. Memorial Day is just around the corner. The (very) unofficial start of summer, Memorial Day always leaves us immensely grateful for those who have served, and eagerly planning how to indulge in our favorite summer things.
Here is our shortlist of some of summer's greatest pleasures, large and small.
-iced coffee
-a backyard BBQ
-time well spent with family and friends
-giant pool floats (bonus points for being shaped like a donut or a unicorn)
-lobster rolls and chilled rose
-sunny days at the shore
-children (and kids at heart) running through sprinklers
-napping under a shady tree
-summer weddings (of course!)
